Seamless Bodywear with outstanding fit

TESS underwear fits like a glove and nestles close to the body. There are no side seams to dig into the body, rub or disrupt the pleasant feeling on the skin. Unlike traditional underwear, it is not made of individual pieces sewn together, but is knitted in the round in a single operation. Modern circular knitting machines are able to position various functional zones at exactly the points where they are needed. That means: better fit, higher breathability, more isolation, better elasticity. Thus, significantly more usefulness is ensured for the wearer.

State-of-the-art circular knitting machines for innovative 3D technology

In our opinion, only 3D seamless technology allows us to obtain the palpably best wearing comfort for underwear. Traditional underwear is knitted two-dimensionally as a textile surface. TESS products are manufactured three-dimensionally in a single operation. On what are probably the most technically demanding circular knitting machines in the world, we have spent years developing our products in order to offer our customers highly functional underwear. A large amount of experience is required to find the right yarns and process them to form a uniform loop structure. We have that experience.

Functional zones create a better environment for the body

Our TESS underwear’s computer-controlled 3D seamless technology positions specially balanced functional zones at exactly the spots on the body where they are needed: where more sweat is produced, we position distance control channels. These fine ribbed structures permit a sensitive microclimate on the skin, allowing air to circulate under the fabric and letting sweat escape. In other words, effective air control management. Where the body needs more warmth, we knit in more voluminous zones, and where freedom of movement is required, we integrate additional elasticity. There are no seams between the zones to rub against the skin. That means the highest levels of wearing comfort.

Double knit underwear stays dry and efficient

TESS’s innovative double face technology combines two different yarns with different fibre properties into a single piece of functional underwear. Seamlessly knit, of course. On the inside are soft fibres which gently caress the skin and immediately suck away perspiration. Thanks to the capillary effect, the moisture is quickly passed on to the outer fibres, where it can evaporate optimally. That means: the body stays dry. Effective temperature management, meaning the wearer feels 100% comfortable and capable.

The art of combining the best fibres

Not all fibres are the same. TESS only uses the highest quality functional fabrics to produce its industrial safety underwear. Above all, our focus is wearing comfort. Our goal is to use fibre blends to regulate the body’s natural temperature equalisation, just like an air conditioning system. Underwear must keep the body warm, but also support its cooling in situations of extreme stress or extreme physical exertion. This can be achieved by swift outward transport of sweat. If this is accomplished, the wearer does not suffer a loss of energy or performance and can concentrate fully on their work. For occupations such as firefighters, construction workers, roofers or even motorsports, this can be vital in stressful situations.
